Today I wanted to talk about why Judo's spot as the second most practiced sport in the world could be in jeopardy and what can be done to help revive sport Judo. The Olympics have pushed the IJF to market Judo as a Spectator Sport. The IJF has also really isolated Judo from big name companies like the UFC by refusing to cooperate with MMA and BJJ. Ronda Rousey has put sport judo back in the spotlight and little to nothing has been to take advantage of it.
