So this is me, the guy in gray, and a friend of mine. At the time of this clip, I had been training in Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu for about 6 months. Isaac had been training in Judo for a full year and was a green belt. I was still a white belt!

*please note* under the pressure and intensity of me, engaging in an unofficial throwdown, with the low level competition experience I didn' t even have, it'll be obvious that this is my first time! please don't misunderstand me, I do roll, and train, but I had never really done it "publicly".

Nonetheless, we decided to test each other out in a ground fighting match. The fight was set for 3 five minute rounds unless one of us taps the other out before the allotted time. If so, we reset, and begin the next round. If time runs out then we'd have left it to the spectators to decide.

Well, we end up going four rounds. The third one's time finished and we asked the people who they believed had won that round. They didn't know what to say! So we went into an overtime round!

I believe it's safe to say that both Isaac and I have improved in our disciplines of martial arts and there could very well be a rematch!

*antother thing to consider* I believe that I had all the advantages I could ever ask for in this fight. I train in Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu without a gi so I am used to grappling and not having to worry about gi grips or holds.

Isaac trains in Judo, which is about 50% stand up and ground game, and for the most part, with a gi! I was given the upper hand on account that we started our rounds at mid range (on our knees)

so say what you want, yes there will be a rematch! only because Isaac wants one, he thinks i just got "lucky". Oh well, I'm not one to make excuses but I'm looking forward to part 2!
