Recently, 6foot4honda came down here to Texas. That weekend, we held a meetup followed by some kart racing at K1 Speed. In the final race, the only crash of the day happened (kart or otherwise). Worst crash I've been a part of (or seen in person).

I had been trying to make a pass on another racer for about a lap and was following pretty closely. Going into the turn of the crash, the kart in front of me drifted a bit too much, causing it's speed to drop almost instantly. I hit my brakes to prevent myself from ramming into him, but in the process, initiated my own drift since I was mid-turn. I tried to correct, but these karts just don't like to slide.

I ended up sideways and the kart behind me that I had just passed t-boned into me. Ended up fine except for scrapes and bruises.
