Alex is a blue belt judoka and sambo player at the Judo & Sambo Academy (Team Zurab) located in Flagler County. This is him competing at the 3rd Jax BJJ Open (GI and NO-GI Division) on 4/24/2010. Alex placed second in GI and first in NO-GI (blue belt and advanced white belt division, 16-17 age group). Overall Team Zurab won over a dozen medals (most 1st and 2nd places).
