In this Top 10 I look at Formula 1's most radical and extreme car designs made in the pursuit of speed and in most cases with the sacrifice of aesthetics. As you'll be able to see, most of these designs were conceived in the 20th century which reflects the lack of leeway for designers to experiment aerodynamically under the current regulations which, whilst closing the pack up, is probably a bad thing in terms of attracting the top aerodynamicists to the sport.
